New redesigned PS3 model coming soon

Sony have confirmed that they are to release a newly designed version of the PlayStation 3. The console will be sold as a bundle package with Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception included within the $270 price tag for a 250GB PS3. Sony also plan to release a 500GB version of their ‘new’ PlayStation 3 which will go to market along with Assassins Creed III. The 500GB will be released in October where as the 250GB PS3 package will be available to buy from September 25th in North America.

PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 has release date confirmed

EA have stepped up and at last confirmed the official release dates for the PS3 version of previously Xbox 360 exclusive title Mass Effect 2. The company have confirmed that the game will be available on January 18 2011 in North America and on January 21 2011 in Europe.

PSP 2 Rumored for Release before Christmas…..2011

Although Sony themselves are yet to tell us whether a PSP 2 is a reality or not, we know that there are game developers out there that are reportedly creating games specifically for the ‘PSP 2’.  Now, there are rumors claiming that developers have been told that the PSP 2 will be arriving before the holiday season of 2011, according to a source of VG247.

Sony Announce Tokyo Game Show Line Up

As VG247 pointed out, Sony are going to be firmly focusing on the PlayStation Move and 3D aspects of their gaming line-up at this years Tokyo Games Show (TGS) however there will still be plenty of gaming goodness on display at the Sony booth in the form of:
