Rockstar announced a while back that they would be bringing GTA III to Android and iOS. The day has finally arrived and GTA III can now be downloaded on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, as well as various Android powered devices. Not all Android devices are supported yet, including flagship phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus – support is coming soon though.
GTA III was originally released in 2001 by Rockstar on the Sony PlayStation 2 and to mark it’s tenth anniversary, it’s been made available for portable devices and actually works quite well. GTA III is one of the classic GTA games by Rockstar and is the first GTA game to go 3D.
The game is available for £2.99 on iOS and £3.23 on Android. After the initial download, a further 441MB is required, so you will need to ensure you are connected to Wifi while downloading.
