On June 23rd 1991, we saw Sonic the Hedgehog make his debut on the Sega Master System. Since then a plethora of games have been released, including Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic Adventures and more recently Sonic 4. Admittedly not all of the Sonic games have been great but, because of his very first game Sonic has a strong following. Last year we saw Sonic 4 Part 1 released which is one of best Sonic games to be released in quite a few years and this year we will see Sonic Generations. Sega will bring the old school Sonic from 1991 together with the modern day Sonic.
