The highly anticipated ‘Rock Band 2’ will hit Xbox 360’s on November 21st 2008. Harmonix have announced that it is to start shipping the game in Europe on 14th November. The cost of the ‘Rock Band 2’ software will be £49.99, but standalone hardware will be available at the beginning of December.
‘Rock Band 2’ will contain a vast amount songs including tracks from Guns ‘N Roses, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Nirvana and Motorhead. A great feature is it’s backwards compatibility with downloaded tracks for the original Rock Band – you won’t have wasted your money if you downloaded any! Harmonix also say that they envisage having over 500 songs in the Rock Band music library by the end of the year.
Get this added to your Christmas wishlist, or if you can’t wait until then, enjoy rocking out to classic oldies, or the more recent rockin’ anthems, on November 21st 2008.
